Scott serves an advisory function for Joseph, Herzfeld, Hester & Kirschenbaum LLP. He is a professor at University of Michigan Law School, specializing in Constitutional Law and Legal Theory and Philosophy. Prior to joining the faculty at Michigan, Scott taught for nine years at the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York and was a visiting professor at the Yale Law School for 2002-2003. He has published widely on subjects related to legal and political philosophy and is the editor (with Jules Coleman) of the Oxford Handbook of Jurisprudence and the Philosophy of Law.
